You might be a Community Volunteer if you:

  • Want to stay connected to what’s happening in Old Ellicott City
  • Enjoy helping out at events, festivals, or special projects when your schedule allows
  • Want to meet people and support the community in a hands-on way
  • Like being “on call” for opportunities to jump in and help

You’ll be part of our volunteer network that makes ECP events and initiatives successful and hear about opportunities to get involved throughout the year.



You might be a Committee Volunteer if you:
  • Want to be more regularly involved in shaping and supporting the ECP organization
  • Have a skill, interest, community perspective, or new ideas to share
  • Want to “try out” involvement before a larger role and commitment
  • Can commit to one meeting per month, and participate in projects when available

You’ll support the work of ECP throughout the year and help turn ideas into action that ensure Old Ellicott City is a thriving community.


You might be a Board Member if you:
  • Want to shape the strategy and the long-term direction of the organization
  • Are comfortable with governance, oversight, and decision-making
  • Enjoy leading initiatives and supporting others in their work
  • Can commit to consistent engagement and accountability
  • Are interested in building partnerships and advancing ECP’s mission

You’ll help guide the direction of ECP and ensure the organization has the leadership and support needed to deliver on its mission.
