Volunteer for the Old Ellicott City Farmers Market

The Old Ellicott City Farmers Market will operate on Saturdays, 9am-1pm from May 24 - October 25 in Tiber Park.

The Ellicott City Partnership needs enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the new Old Ellicott City Farmers Market. Volunteers will play an important role by assisting with various tasks, activities, and events during market days. This volunteer position is a great opportunity to help connect local farmers and producers to our community and educate the public about Ellicott City Partnership programs and events. To accommodate different schedules and availability, we offer multiple types of volunteer opportunities.

Primary responsibilities for volunteers at our farmers market are providing customer service at the information tent, facilitating safe market operations and logistics, supporting market staff and farm vendors with set-up and break-down, taking photos and videos to share with our communications team, and completing administrative tasks such as collecting customer counts.
