Loved my first visit to Ellicott City, and the best stop was The Market at Caplan's, as it just oozed a collaborative vibe from this great community. Brilliant reinvestment by the area! Shout-out to all, as this venue now gives all of its profits back to local artisans who created content. There's plenty of good stuff! This site was where a legendary store once sat before closing in 1977, and had considerable damage due to flooding in 2016/2018. But, it was staffer Katie who made my day, telling me the story, and having so much passion and feel for E-City! And her musical taste is exceptional, turned us on to a GREAT band playing in the venue. I'm loving the concept, and love the shop. Wishing it well & asking you to visit because it's so worth it.
