Maryland Winds - Bookmarks from Japan

Our season opens with Julie Giroux’s Bookmarks from Japan (Symphony No. 4), a vivid musical journey inspired by six beautifully illustrated bookmarks depicting scenes and landmarks created by renowned Japanese artists. GGiroux transforms these visual images into a richly colorful and emotionally compelling symphony that brings these images vividly to life in sound.
