Brittany Dunbar Photography is the whole entire package you are looking for in a wedding photographer! If she still has your date available, consider this to be the sign you have been waiting for- BOOK. HER. She is highly responsive, punctual, prepared, creative, easy going, organized, professional, thoughtful, experienced, helpful, accommodating, and a highly educated photographer and artist with a master’s in business. When I first saw her work I was blown away by the rich earth tones, contrast, image framing, and the genuine emotions and natural ease her photography documented. “I want to look like these people!” I thought as I scrolled through her portfolio. I don’t consider myself to be highly photogenic, and I often don’t like most pictures of myself. But let me tell you, I LOVE the pictures Brittany took of us during our complimentary engagement shoot and wedding so much that I have already requested a one year anniversary shoot with her! We felt so comfortable with her the entire time and she is so helpful in guiding poses that look and feel natural AND photograph well. My biggest fear was looking or feeling posed or awkward and not knowing how to pose in the moment. I don’t remember “trying to pose” for a single picture, and am thrilled with how natural we look! No Pinterest recreation fails here! I remember having fun and bonding with my loved ones during our shoots, and this really made all the difference in the authenticity of our pictures. We received so many compliments from our guests during and after the wedding about how incredible our pictures were and how Brittany and her assistant (Laura) managed to be everywhere at once to catch all the special moments at our wedding of 230+ people on 9.25.21. Even when things were running behind, she was totally cool, calm, collected, and we got all the pictures we wanted- and then some! I am especially thankful to her for pointing out a fantastic sunset and checking to see if we wanted pictures even though our day of timeline said we would be eating at that time. Sunsets are our favorite and I am so happy to have those pictures that were almost never taken! Brittany and Laura put in WORK for 8+ hours and delivered an impressive 1,200 edited pictures 10 weeks after the wedding in a convenient online gallery that we were able to share with friends and family. She also sent us a preview photo two days after the wedding, and a preview gallery with 30 edited images only 5 days after the wedding. I know people who wait weeks or months to see anything and we really loved these previews! She also put together a draft wedding album for us after we chose our favorite shots, and was able to include nearly all of our favorites in the album. The prints we have ordered from her website have been gorgeous and impeccable quality, and we are so excited for this album! The decision to partner with Brittany Photography was one of the most important and best decisions we made as we were planning our wedding, and we are eternally grateful to her for telling our engagement and wedding day stories! I knew when we clicked instantly on an initial Zoom call that she was the perfect person to document our love story- it felt like we had known each other forever. We are very grateful to continue our personal and professional relationships with Brittany and look forward to the stories she will tell for us in the future- she is our photographer for life!
