Mardi Gras On Main Street

We are so excited for Mardi Gras on Main 2026! We have fun family friendly activities all day long in Old Ellicott City. We hope to see you there!

Mask Scavenger Hunt – 1–5 PM (or while supplies last)
Participating Ellicott City businesses will hide a festive Mardi Gras mask somewhere in their shop. Find the mask and you’ll be rewarded with a string of Mardi Gras beads!

French Quarter Find – 1–3 PM
Start your adventure at the Forget Me Not Factory to grab a game card featuring all participating businesses. Visit each location and search for the hidden street sign. Once the card is complete, kids can head to Little Market to enjoy a free King Cake donut.

Mardi Gras Mask Decorating – 1–4 PM

Head over to Sweet Elizabeth Jane's for some family-friendly fun. Create a Mardi Gras mask that is uniquely you!

Carnival at The Bin –  1pm - 6pm - Benefiting Voices for Children
Make a stop at The Wine Bin for live music, New Orleans–inspired food and drinks, and festive fun all day long—all while supporting a great cause.

Mardi Gras Fun for Kids at Doc Taylor's – 1-4 PM

Enjoy carnival games, Mardi Gras crafts, and reptile encounters with CMC Exotics!The cost is $5 per kid and proceeds benefit the Save-A-Limb fund at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics.
