Join the Ellicott City Partnership for one of our town’s most beloved traditions — the 47th Annual Midnight Madness & Tree Lighting in historic Old Ellicott City!
✨ The Magic Begins at 4PM
Kick off the evening with a Meet & Greet with Santa at the historic Log Cabin, where kids (and kids at heart) can share their wish lists and snap a photo with the big guy himself.
🎶 Tree Lighting Ceremony in Tiber Park
5:15 PM – Festive performance by the Mt. Hebron High School & Long Reach High School Choirs
5:50 PM – Welcome remarks from County Executive and local officials
6:00 PM – Tree Lighting Celebration, followed by a beautiful performance from the St. Paul’s Church Choir
🎅 Santa Returns
From 6:30–8:30 PM, Santa will be back at the Log Cabin for more visits and photos.
🚂 Holiday Train Garden at the B&O Railroad Station
All aboard for holiday nostalgia! Visit the Historic B&O Railroad Station to see the Holiday Train Garden, open until 9 PM — a delight for kids and train lovers alike.
🎤 Heart of Maryland Chorus Performance
At 8 PM, enjoy the Heart of Maryland Chorus at The Wine Bin, then follow along as they fill Main Street with carols and holiday cheer.
